James G. Heidisch, Managing Broker of Campbell & Rosemurgy Real Estate, has been a licensed REALTOR® since 1976. He currently serves as President-Elect of the Board of Directors of the REALTOR® Association of Greater Ft. Lauderdale, Inc. (RAGFL).
Prior to his involvement with RAGFL, Jim has served on numerous committees with the Macomb County Association of REALTORS® in Michigan and the Boca Raton Association of REALTORS® in Palm Beach County. A RAGFL member since 1991, Jim has served on the Board of Directors since 2007 including terms as Secretary and Treasurer. He has been Chair of the Audit and Finance and Government Affairs Committees as well as the Investment Task Force. He has also been a member of the RAGFL Honor Society since 2007. Jim has been active on a state level as a Florida Association REALTORS® (FAR) Director since 2006. He presently serves on FAR’s Insurance Subcommittee and the Public Policy Committee and is FAR’s Key Contact for State Representative, Gwyndolyne-Clarke Reed. Along with being an FAR Honor Society member, Jim has been a member of the Smart Growth Sub Committee, State and Local Taxation Subcommittee and the Local Board Treasurers Exchange. At the national level, Jim currently serves as a National Association REALTORS® (NAR) Director and is member of the Membership Policy & Board Jurisdiction Committee. In 2008, he also served as a Director and was a member of the State and Local Issues Committee. Active in his community, Jim is a Director of Jim & Jan Moran Unit of the Boys & Girls Club, a Director of the Deerfield Beach Chamber of Commerce and served as its President in 2004. He is a member of the Rotary Club and is a founding committee member of Dunn’s Run, an annual Boys and Girls Club fundraising event. He was chairman of the St. Joan of Arc Hunger Program for 8 years. Married to Christine for 40 years, Jim has 2 sons and 5 grandchildren. |

Richard (Rick) Barkett Richard (Rick) Barkett was elected to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the REALTOR® Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale, Inc. (RAGFL) in 2001. As CEO, Rick oversees one of the nation’s largest real estate associations and one of Florida’s largest local trade associations with a membership of over 8,000 members spanning Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade Counties. At RAGFL, Rick also manages a professional staff of over 28 employees located in two offices with an annual budget of over $5 million.
Rick, a licensed Florida real estate broker since 1975, has had an extensive and notable career in the real estate industry. After eight years of practicing residential real estate, Rick moved into the commercial real estate sector where he specialized in multi-family, retail and office leasing. Prior to his position at RAGFL, Rick served as the District Manager for a major real estate brokerage firm. At the firm, Rick was credited for successfully identifying and rebuilding under-achieving offices throughout the company. Throughout his career, Rick has received numerous honors and awards for his success including a 1999 Presidential Distinguished Service award and the 2005-2006 Winterfest Anchor Award. His most prestigious honors to date are being chosen as the 1999 RAGFL REALTOR® of the Year, the 2000 Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR) Associate Realtor of the Year and the 2009 RAGFL Presidential Distinguished Service Award winner. He is a member of numerous associations and boards including the Broward Housing Partnership, the Broward County Housing Council and Winterfest Inc. Rick has also served as a District Vice-President of FAR and a Director of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). |

Summer Greene, CRB, GRI, is the Regional Manager of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Florida 1st, a 6 office, 300+ agent real estate company located in Broward County, Florida. Summer was elected by her peers to serve as the 2010 Vice President of the Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR). She most recently served as 2009 FAR Treasurer and 2008 FAR Secretary.
A former Secretary, Treasurer and President of the REALTOR® Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale, Inc. (RAGFL), Summer has served on numerous committees and groups at the local Association level. In 2003, she was recognized by her peers as the RAGFL REALTOR® of the Year. At the state level, Summer has remained just as involved. An FAR Director since 1995, Summer has also served as the District XI Vice-President. In 2005, she was the proud recipient of the prestigious FAR REALTOR® Achievement Award. At the national level, Summer has been a National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Director since 2001 and has served numerous committees such as Multiple Listing Forum, Local Taxation and Professional Standards. Committed to professional development, Summer has attained the challenging and sought-after CRB and GRI designations and in 1988 she received an M.B.A. from Barry University. Brenda G. Ghibaudi, P.A., CRS, LTG, PMN, a top sales associate with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Florida 1st in Fort Lauderdale, currently serves clients throughout Broward, Palm Beach and Dade Counties. She currently serves as the 2010 President of the REALTOR® Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale, Inc. (RAGFL).
A full-time sales associate with more than 27 years of real estate excellence, Brenda’s service and involvement to the REALTOR® community is limitless. Her service to the local Association consists of numerous years as a member of the RAGFL Board of Directors as well as 2008 Vice President. Brenda's involvement at the state level has been no less impressive. She is an eleven year member of the Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR) Honor Society and has served on dozens of committees. Some of Brenda’s most rewarding work has come through her passionate involvement with the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR). An 18-year member, Brenda has held countless elected positions including National Governor and Florida State Chapter President. Brenda has also served as a faculty member of WCR’s Leadership Academy for 5 consecutive years and still travels the country teaching a range of REALTOR® management and business topics. In recognition of her successful leadership, Brenda was honored as the Florida State Member of the Year in 1999 and State Mentor of the Year in 2003. In 2004, she reached the ultimate pinnacle by serving as the WCR National President. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Brenda has been a South Florida resident for over 32 years. Married to her husband John for 40 years, Brenda is the mother of two grown sons, Chris and Brian, as well as the proud grandmother of Shea Michael and Savannah Brooke. When Brenda is not selling real estate across South Florida or lecturing around the country, she can be found enjoying a round of golf, reading a good book or cooking a traditional Sunday dinner for her family. |
