On Tuesday, April 5th, nearly 150 of RAGFL's issue-conscious members and their guests attended "RPAC Goes to RIO" held at one of Broward's finest eateries - Chima Brazilian Steakhouse on Las Olas.
This fundraiser for the REALTORS Political Action Committee drew an outstanding crowd of real estate professionals who were eager to support RPAC by bidding on awesome donated gifts. There was both a silent and a live auction, that which was a fast-and-furious performance conducted by Florida REALTORS® President-Elect Summer Greene and RAGFL Past President Jim Balistreri. Florida REALTORS® District 11 DVP Jesse Acevedo and 2011 RAGFL President Jim Heidisch served as the Celebrity Bartenders, both who quickly filled their tip jars to the rim with contributions.
We're proud to announce that the event raised an unprecedented $15,000, all in support of this critical component of your career - your industry "insurance policy" - protecting your right to do business - RPAC.
