Code of Ethics is required between Jan. 1, 2013 to Dec. 31, 2016. These courses are NOT administered by DBPR, but by Greater Fort Lauderdale REALTORS® who reports them to National Association of REALTORS®.
NOTE: Starting Jan. 1, 2017, you will need to take Code of Ethics again by Dec. 31, 2018 as the NAR requirement has changed from a 4-year cycle to a 2-year cycle:

b. Click on My Portal and Log In
c. Under QuickLinks, click on Member Services Menu
d. Under Services, click on Education History, then Classes You Have Taken
e.The course will either be called Code of Ethics, or was also included in your New Member Orientation. If either show completed between 1/1/2013 and today, then you have completed your requirement. Please note that some courses may show pending, which means that you have completed your requirement.
f. If you have taken Code of Ethics through another school or online, please be sure to email your documentation and/or certificate to Education@R-World.com so we can record it.
- Options to Complete Code Of Ethics
a. GFLR On-Site Courses: GFLR typically offers two in-house courses per month; 1 East and 1 West. You can sign up for these courses online at www.R-World.com, hover over the Education Tab and click on Calendar to view & Register for Code of Ethics.
b. Online Code of Ethics Courses: Go to www.R-World.TheCEShop.com. From there, be sure to select Florida from the drop-down and check off Continuing Education. Code of Ethics is one of the courses offered. Your certificate is sent to GFLR upon completion for our recordings.
c. Broker In-Office Code of Ethics DVD: Your Broker can request to offer playing the DVD of Code of Ethics for your office. Your Broker can contact GFLR Professional Development Department or email Education@R-World.com to request the DVD and Authorization forms for agents to sign off on and Broker to authorize/verify completion. These are available for offices of 10 or more agents.
