Short Sales Yield Long Lines for Membership Meeting

On Thursday, September 17th, RAGFL was proud to host our General Membership Meeting and Breakfast. Over 200 RAGFL members and guests filled the walls of the Signature Grand in Davie to hear featured guests, Greg Hass and Ronne Berry-McCollum, provide an in-depth, nuts and bolts look at the shorts sales process. Greg Hass, Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR) Senior Counsel, kicked off the shorts sales portion of the event with a 15 slide show presentation on issue’s intricate legal components. Ronnie Berry-McCollum, Banks Law Firm and Title Agency of Florida paralegal, then joined Hass on stage along with RAGFL President Jesse Acevedo for an interactive question and answer session with the audience. With the complexity of the short sales process, presenters were kept on their toes with questions ranging from how to get an application noticed to the legality of multiple offers.
In addition to feasting on a delicious breakfast, an update on key Association business and events was given as well as a presentation of the Association’s Honor Society members. Special thanks to our presenters and for all who participated.
