RAGFL Members Met One-On-One With Broward’s Top City Officials at Annual Event

RAGFL members received valuable one-on-one time with their city leaders at RAGFL’s Seventh Annual Meet Your Mayors Breakfast. The July 11th event, held at the Westin Cypress Creek in Fort Lauderdale, was another RAGFL sellout with over 150 RAGFL members, guests and concerned citizens in attendance.

Over two dozen Broward County cities were represented by their city leaders. The forum style venue gave officials the opportunity to address the issues of most concern and to field questions from audience members about how these matters are being handled. Association members engaged in a productive discourse with the local representatives for over two hours on a variety of issues including the quality of local schools, property tax reform, insurance relief and proposed developments.

“This was another great opportunity for our members to lobby together and demand the answers that affect their lives and the lives of their fellow South Floridians,” said Barkett. “RAGFL has been and will continue to remain fully committed to giving our members valuable and significant opportunities to remain engaged in the property tax reform debate and any other issues which affect the Realtor® community.”
