Chuck Bonamer

Chuck Bonamer is the president of TRANS-EQUITY, Inc., REALTORS®. His brokerage firm renders litigation support and lecture services to the brokerage and law industries. Awarded as Top Instructor for At Home with DiversitySM by the National Association of REALTORS®, Mr. Bonamer has repeatedly taught the course for NAR and presented it at the 2005 Annual Convention in San Francisco.

Dick Newstreet

Dick is a practicing REALTOR® who has gone from running his own office for 15 years to managing Grubb & Ellis, Barbar Realty and Arvida Realty Sales, to working once again as a sole practitioner. During the years, Dick`s real estate transactions have been endless - has sold FHA/VA and waterfront luxury homes, developed apartment buildings and condominiums, managed shopping centers and office buildings and participated in large land transactions. Licensed in 1965, Dick brings a vast array of experience to the table having endured many dynamic market swings.

During his career, Dick has served as Chairman of the FAR Education Committee, President of the REALTOR® Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale (RAGFL) and a District XI Vice President of the Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR). In 1982, he was named `REALTOR® of the Year` by RAGFL. Dick has taught for the University of Florida, Florida Atlantic University, Fort Lauderdale University and Broward Community College.

A Senior GRI Instructor for FAR since 1979, Dick has written and instructed sales courses for numerous Boards of REALTORS®. Certified as an expert witness in real estate matters, he has testified in Broward and Palm Beach Circuit Courts on real estate matters. Having served on 13 Board of Directors of various professional and civic organizations, Dick has been president of five and treasurer of three of the organizations.

Dick is the father of ten children and has resided in Coral Springs since 1973. An active member of St. Andrews Church, he is also a soccer referee and coach, having coached over 50 different teams with 700 youth soccer players. He is a graduate of Rockhurst College with a degree in Economics.

Joline Rivard

Joline Rivard, P.A., GRI, CRS, ABR, CIPS, AHWD, is RAGFL's evening instructor teaching MLX 1 to MLX 4 courses. Originally from the Midwest; Joline has resided in Fort Lauderdale for the past 25 years. She secured her Real Estate License in November 2000 and currently works as a Sales Associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate where she has achieved Diamond Society status.

Prior to her Real Estate Career, Joline's experience was in management, construction, and computers for large corporations. Her motto is: 'Teach One to Train One'. Teaching one person who then shares their knowledge with another we will have raised the bar and have the highest skilled members!

Jorge Cantero

Jorge L. Cantero is a Broker-Associate with EWM, Inc. Prior to his current affiliations, he was the Broker-Owner of Apollo Group Realty, Inc. for over 15 years. He was a real estate Broker in New York from 1971-1982 and has been actively licensed in Florida since 1985.

He was the top producing (Centurion) agent for Century 21 in Dade County for 3 consecutive years. As a broker-owner, his company won a contract from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to be the exclusive agent in marketing and selling of government owned properties. He was also chosen by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to market and sell real estate assets from failed financial institutions.

Jorge is a Real Estate Instructor for the Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR), and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Because of his high level of real estate experience and expertise, he has been asked to teach other real estate professionals throughout the United States, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe and North, Central and South America.

Jorge recently completed a Masters of Science degree in International Real Estate at Florida International University (FIU). Lee McLaughlin

Lee is the author of a real estate training book titled "The Roads to Success". His training style has been described as creative and fun. Lorna Hall

Lorna`s background is in real estate (8 years) and title insurance (25 years). She has been teaching classes all of her career. She earned the GRI designation and her title company`s state sales award twice. She is the only affiliate member to be chosen `Affiliate of the Year` by the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and has also been an RPAC Sterling `R` contributor.

Married with three children, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Lorna enjoys teaching, traveling, collecting antique glassware and pottery and is an aspiring short story writer.

Martin Cohen

Martin Cohen is passionate about sharing his Real Estate knowledge and experiences with others. Nace Cohen

Nace Cohen is the President of 1031 Exchange Connection, Inc. and based in Naples, FL. A CPA since 1983, he graduated from The University of Florida and spent much of his career with major real estate accounting and consulting firms. He is a specialist in real estate taxation, lectures frequently on 1031 exchanges throughout Florida, and is considered an expert on the subject. He is an affiliate member of The Naples Area Board of Realtors where he serves on the Professional Development Committee. He is also an affiliate member of other Realtor Associations, and a member of the Florida and American Institutes of CPA's.

Nace recently completed the Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR) Instructor Training Institute (ITI) program. He is now eligible to teach the 1031 Exchange and Income Taxation for Realtors classes for the GRI program sponsored by the FAR and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). He currently teaches three 1031 exchange classes in Florida under his own courses entitled 1031 Exchanges The Basics (3 CE), 1031 Exchanges and Commercial Real Estate (4 CE) and 1031 Exchanges and FIRPTA (4 CE).

He is requested on a regular basis to give 1031 presentations to other county realtor boards such as Indian River, Melbourne, Space Coast, St. Augustine, Emerald Coast, Miami Dade and Ft. Lauderdale, just to name a few. He has previously taught 1031 exchange seminars for the FICPA`s FGCU Southwest Florida Accounting Conference and FAR`s Annual Trade Show. Other organizations, such as various broker realtor, law and accounting firms, as well as special interest groups that cater to real estate investment such as Women`s Council of Realtors, frequently call on Nace to give his 1031 exchange presentations.

In addition to holding a Florida CPA license, Nace holds an active Florida Real Estate Sales Associate License and Securities licenses series 22 and 63.

Pat O'Connor

Pat O'Connor

Pat received a Master's Degree in Psychology from The University of South Carolina and then moved to New Jersey where she stayed for the next twenty years. During this period she developed her teaching and computer skills. For five years, she owned a computer consulting company and it was during this time that she was an adjunct Professor in Data Processing at St. Peter's College in Jersey City for two years teaching evening classes.

She left that position to teach adult education courses in computer programming for two years at Columbia University in New York City. Eventually she returned to the corporate world, developed a working knowledge of finance and rose to the level of Vice President of Technology. In that capacity she worked at various Wall Street investment banks and brokerage houses and managed a large staff of IT specialists.

In 2002, Pat moved to Florida and in 2003 she received her sales associate license and immediately joined RAGFL. Later that year she earned her mortgage broker's license. In 2004 she received her real estate broker's license and founded The Veritas Real Estate Group, Inc. She began teaching MLXchange classes at RAGFL in 2004 and earned her Real Estate Instructor license in 2005. Her company is a licensed real estate brokerage, mortgage broker business, real estate school and a mortgage business school and she teaches classes there on a regular basis.

Pat is a professional writer and develops online real estate continuing education classes for a national vendor. In addition, she is the author of the following state-approved text books which she uses at her school: Florida Mortgage Broker Licensing Course, Florida Mortgage Continuing Education Course and Florida 14 Hour Real Estate Continuing Education Course. Pat is proud to be an active member of RAGFL.

Tim Haines

Tim Haines

Tim has held a real estate license since 1981. He earned his broker's license and the GRI designation in 1982. Tim's career has always been focused on managing and/or operating real estate companies - he was affiliated with Merrill Lynch Realty, Prudential Florida Realty and Arvida/Weston Realty Sales. His expertise is hiring, training and developing real estate sales people to their fullest potential.

Haines has served the REALTOR® organization at both the state and local levels as past Director and Treasurer of the South Broward Board of REALTORS®; MLS Chairman and Strategic Planning Committee volunteer with the REALTOR® Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale (RAGFL) and as an FAR Director. Tim's current role is that of Professional Trainer and Motivator, teaching REALTORS® in South Florida the intricacies of MLXchange, iMapp, Transaction Desk and Immobel.
