Association Inducts New President, Board of Directors and Recognizes Outstanding Members at Annual Event

The REALTOR® Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale, Inc. (RAGFL) recognized its new leadership team and key members Friday, Jan. 8th during its 2010 Celebration and Kick Off at Marriott Harbor Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale.

In addition to first-class dining, live music and national entertainment, guests were treated to a photo montage highlighting the past year’s events as well as a photo tribute of the Association’s Past Presidents. The program was highlighted by the induction of RAGFL’s 2010 president and Board of Directors and a presentation of key Association recognitions including REALTOR® of the Year, Political Appreciation Award and the Retiring Directors.

Brenda G. Ghibaudi, CRS, PMN of Prudential Florida 1st Realty was installed as the Association’s 2010 President and James G. Heidisch, GRI of Campbell & Rosemurgy Real Estate was inducted as 2010 President-Elect. Jesse Acevedo, ABR, e-Pro of ERA Ace Realty & Investment, Inc. was installed as Immediate Past President, Margaret “Marnie” E. Allen, e-PRO, GRI of Century 21 Hansen Realty was installed as Vice-President, Herman "Leo" Kentolall, TRC of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate was installed as Treasurer and Francisco J. Angulo, ABR, CRS, CRB, CIPS, e-PRO, TRC, GRI of Century 21 United Properties was installed as Secretary. Formally assuming office as directors were Charles “Chuck” J. Bonfiglio, Jr. of AAA Realty Group Inc; John L. Castelli, e-Pro, GRI of Castelli Real Estate Services; Jonathan A. Lakso of Allied Realty Group, Inc.; Stephen B. McWilliam, ABR, CRB, CRS, GRI of Florida State Realty Group Inc. and Bonnie F. Metviner, CIPS, CRS, GRI, TRC of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate.

RAGFL Past President Christine E. Hansen, CRB, GRI was recognized as REALTOR® of the Year, while U.S. Rep. Matt Hudson (FL-101) was honored with the Political Appreciation Award. Immediate Past President Randolph H. Bates, e-PRO, GRI, Noel A. Edwards, Marlene J. Katkin, Sonny Maken, CCIM and Judith W. Zimmer were recognized as Retiring Directors.
